I love making decorative thrown stoneware/earthenware glazed functional pots. I also create sculptural objects that are formed using shapes and symbols that hold specific interest for me. My hand built work is essentially experimental; look at a process, a style, a form and adapt it to create something that is mine. I am passionate about sculpture and my latest work is a combination of past and new work. The adopting of small birds led me to create a bird tree formed with influences from my sculptural musical instruments and my orbs which in turn led me to the landscapes.

Introduced to clay at school, I went on to study ceramics at Grays School of Art and now currently continuing to develop and experiment with clay and other materials such as metal and glass at my studio with Lewisham Arthouse, 140 Lewisham Way, London SE14 6PD.
