I originally trained as a radiographer and sonographer but had to give up due to medical reasons. I became interested in ceramics after meeting someone at a local art class in 2004/5 an soon became addicted. I learned to throw at Heskeths when in Lewes and have been able to consolidate my skills at courses with professional potters including Deborah Baynes and Mark Titchener.

I joined Kent Potters in 2008, have continued to learn new techniques and hone my skills and have recently begun teaching throwing and hand-building from my home. I enjoy sculpting torsos and heads, although have completed commissions for animals and whole body sculptures. I also enjoy throwing functional ware and experimenting with glazes and finishes, both in stoneware and earthenware. I sell my ceramics at local craft fairs and shops.
