Janet Jackson
Janet's work is handbuilt using a variety of techniques, preferring the leathery textural qualities of this work to smoother thrown surfaces. She enjoys experimenting with resist patterns in low firing glazes, creating an impressive palette of colour which is applied with imagination and a sense of adventure.
Janet specialises in individually produced pieces which are Raku fired. Her work has been exhibited in Kent and London and is in private collections worldwide.
Janet's favorite raku glaze is Tim Proud's Black which she often uses as an accent to the brighter metallic glazes.
